Thanks for posting to keep us updated on your slow speeds issues, I can appreciate that this may cause some frustration so apologies for any inconvenience caused.

 

I've had a look at the ticket in your area, reference number F002896495 and I can see that the review date is currently set to 06/04/16 as they are just awaiting for some of the pre upgrade works to be completed before the capacity upgrades can be carried out.

 

If you require any further updates on this issue just post back here closer to the date and we'll gladly take another look for you.

Yes... two years is really fast. It will be Happy Birthday F002896495. I guess I can forget the upcoming free speed boost in my area... fat chance of benefitting from that!!

I expect my rolling credit to continue without the need to chase this up. Although I will be calling to arrange a loyalty discount to offset the impending price rise in February.

After over 20 years with Telewest/Virgin, I suspect I will most likely be a BT Infinity customer by the 16th of April.

I have received my latest bill (22 December) and I have not received my rolling loss of service credit. Presumably because the previous  'review date' was 23rd December.

This fault ref; F002896495, has now been pushed back, yet again, for another FOUR months to 6th April 2016.

I would expect my rolling credit to continue (after all, this has been ongoing for 20 months).

But of course I had to call 150 and was told by a nice foreign lady that it could not be applied but a note will be placed on for next month. Sorry, that is not good enough! I want my loss of service credit for THIS month.

I requested to speak to retentions but for whatever reason was put through to Tech Services, who of course told me what I already know.... my line is good, but too many customers means peak time slowdown is inevitable and there was nothing they can do! (Well you could perhaps actually get on with the required pre upgrade works and get them completed)

It took a Mod on here to sort this out for me before so I am hoping someone can sort it out again. Please.

I would like to wish Fault ref: F002896495 a very [un]happy second birthday!

The next review date for this twenty four month saga is 6th of April 2016. What can we expect on that date??

Note also that I am told when I log into my account that I am to expect the delayed 'speed boost' to superfibre 70Mbps by the end of April. Somehow I cannot see that happening.

Have the pre-upgrade works been carried out?

Are the capacity upgrades under way?

I am supposed to be getting the 'speed boost' to superfibre 70Mbps by the end of April. Somehow I still cannot see that happening.

Please update us all in the WN3 area with the latest information.

Here is tonight's wonderful speed test. After two years of diabolical speeds, do you still think this is acceptable?

My review date is tomorrow for WA3 also. Be interesting what random month they have pushed these too and what flimsy excuse they use. They need some explanation of what they have done between now and the last couple of review dates. To simply keep pushing them back is not good enough. A slight refund for the speed lost just is not suitable.

Its easy to get upset when we don't get the service we want, but unfortunately, we are getting the service we are paying for.

There exists leased lines for dedicated bandwidth and fast support, the costs of which are understandably much higher however.

We are not getting the services we are paying for expecially compaired to what people get in other countries for a fraction of the price.
