Nope. Nothing. I guess that particular test coincided with a high ping spike on the TBB graph.which tops out at 140. The spikes clearly go beyond that. I can run several speed tests and latency can be 20ms one minute then over 200ms the next!

The graph may not look too bad but it sure as hell is when you try to stream a movie or play an online game!

Yes, both download speed and latency are currently in the gold medal position.  0.19 Mbps  and 1274ms respectively.

0.19Mbps is indeed very poor.

 

I can see that the review date for the fault ticket is still the same at present, and that you've spoken with the Exec team as mentioned previously to discuss this further.

Rumour has it that work is in progress with a resolution by the end of this month (next review date 28/9/16), however when speaking to a member of the Exec Team at the end of July, it was suggested it would be more like December. No actual year was specified I'm afraid.

There have been NO improvements to date, as this speed test from five minutes ago will show....

Thinkbroadband reports there are variable download speeds detected which may impact video streaming. I can forget streaming a planned film tonight then!

I've just got off the phone and the woman I spoke to is adamant it will be fixed by 9am 28th September, although I forgot to ask which year.

I didn't believe them when I spoke to them back in May and I don't believe them now.

Just got off the phone, apparently it'll be December before my issue is resolved (also Wigan). I'm currently getting 3mb on a 100mb line. It's ok though, as it's only an issue at peak times, i.e. When I want to use it. Staggering

Did the person on the phone give you a reference number?
Where aproximately are you, can you post a partial post code? E.g. WN3 6--

WN4. I didn't get a reference, guy said he'd get his manager to phone me back. If I don't hear anything I'm going to call back tomorrow. Just signed up to a new contract, will be backing out of that tomorrow. Wonder if they'd be happy if I only paid 3% of my bill until December?
