I recently moved from virgin 350 to 1 gig and I am having serious Wi-Fi speed issues since moving over. I was wondering if anyone has experienced any issues with 1gb / Unifi or if anyone could give me some advice as to what could solve this.
My problems are
Occasional drops for 30 secs, hardwire drops too.
WIFI speeds inconsistent. Can hit High 600mb post restart, but then drops to below 100mb
Overall speed drops requiring full restart of all hardware (modem hub 4 too)
Virgin Hub 4 - Modem mode
Unifi USG 3P
Unifi Gig POE Switch
7 x Unifi AC pro APS
Able to obtain full 1gb on hardwire occasionally but Wi-Fi is continually inconsistent and often sits below 100mb.
Wi-Fi is set to two separate networks with the 2.4ghz capped at 100mb, 5ghz uncapped.
IDS/IPS disabled with hardware offloading on
Smart queues disabled
Prior to moving to 1gb I had limited issues with 350 / hub 3. The bandwidth dropped by 10-15% but I put that primarily down to people working from home in my area. Overall experience was much more stable with higher Wi-Fi speeds.
Possibly a mistake to upgrade speed if there were any unresolved issues on 350, but perhaps too late to reconsider that, so looking for what we can help you with, do you want to post the Hub's status data for Downstream, Upstream, Network log (as text, not images), and also setup a BQM to check line quality?.

Sorry to hear of the broadband issues with your Hub 4, we appreciate you taking the time to raise this via the forums.
We've tried to look into your connection and equipment but as it is in Modem Mode we aren't currently able to explore this further. If you could take it our of Modem Mode well be able to have a closer look into this.
If you could let us know here when this has been done please?
Sorry to hear about this
I am more than happy to take a look at this for you
I will need to send you a private message to pass security
If you can check the purple envelope top right of your screen that would be great
