HUB 3 LEVELS / faults??

Tracy89745

Hi guys ,

I posted this on the wrong TOPIC and needed to know if anyone could tell me if there is any faults or issue with my HUB 3 / Internet Connection.

If so please reply so i can inform VIRGIN MEDIA ASAP.

For context , my son had a issue back in Feb and this issue stopped and now it has re-appeared. He is autistic and has needs , one of these are mainly gaming so that he has time to relax so i need to know if there is a issue because he thinks there might be one again.

I am aware that I am on VM200 , he says that should be a 200 Mbps Download / 21 Mbps Upload Speed.

Well-informed

Hello,

Nothing really stands out from those stats.

SNR could be a bit better, 38db or higher would be better but nothing major.

If you don't mind me asking, what are the problems you are experiencing?

Hi ,

The problems my son is receiving is that he used to get the full speed of M200. He says this was 220 Mbps Download and 21 Mbps Upload speed.

He now gets about 50% lower then these speeds that i am post to be getting and paying for. Why is this??

I need and want this fixed ASAP.

Thanks Tracy.

You can try phoning the automated fault report thing

Number is... 0800 561 0061

It will tell you if there is a fault in your area.

Also can you post the info from the 'network log' section?

It may help.

Virgin should come along at some point here and see if they can find whats up.

By the way is your son using wifi or an ethernet cable?

Alessandro Volta

There could be any number of reasons for loss of speed. We need more information.

What device is he using to measure the speed, and how is it connected to the Hub?

My name is NOT Alessandro. That's just a tag Virginmedia sticks on some contributors. Please ignore it.
