My online account says I can have free speed boost from 50mb to 100mb.I have accepted it a week ago but since then nothing done,called customer service but no one knows about it and cant find the order.I have a order no for it.who should I contact to check and do I need to do anything to receive the free speed boost.Thanks
I was wondering where my speed bump had got to, forgetting that it has to be ordered. Once done you should then get a confirmation email. If you haven't already had a confirmation email you should get one soon, but a week seems to be a long time. Took roughly one day to bump me up from 70Mb to 100. The router spontaneously rebooted. I would consider trying it again in your position.

Yes, just the same here. I accepted it in My Virgin Media, got a confirming email and within 48 hours it had automatically rebooted twice and I had a new config file taking me from 70 to 100. In reality I'm getting a constant 108 now which is very satisfactory.
Have the order number on the confirmation email handy then give Tech Support a bell on 150; tell them that your speed upgrade hasn't come through. Make sure the router is switched on, then hopefully they can upgrade you manually.
