Over the last few weeks I have experienced a major drop out and since then poor speed. I used to get >=100 MBps bit now struggle to get 40 mbps. I have restarted my router recently and is still only showing 30 Mbps
i am in the Stevenage area so wondered if anyone else experiencing similar issues please?
Mine has been fine when I had the new router a few months back getting ~100 Mbps bit since a major outage a week or so ago, it down to 30-40Mbps. Will test later with Ethernet cable. If it’s bad will sit on queue to Virgin.
I tested last night using an Ethernet cable to my laptop and ran a speed test and it showed 100Mbps. I also did a Wi-fi speed test using laptop and came back with 60-70’Mbps. I then did a speed test on my iPhone and again it shows 30-40Nbps. Seems issue is with my iPhone connection and that was stood by the router. I did try bad enable the 5G connection as the Virgin app seems to stare 2.4G only.
