Connection keeps dropping

Hi

During the day my connection keeps dropping for 10-15 seconds. (can't ping any external ip address, Internal is fine) It's very annoying as my work VPN drops every time this happens.

It seems worse since the speed upgrades recently.

You dont say... are the "drops" occurring on devices connected on ethernet cable at the same time as those on wifi?
Would be worth posting up your network logs as well.
And also starting a “Broadband Quality Monitor” to continually monitor the state of your connection and record any dropouts. It does it 24/7/365 and it keeps a visual record of all your network disconnections, useful data to have in discussions with VM.
