Congestion after planned work C01008018

Bonjour, VM team.

You appear to have broken our network segment with the following planned work:

Planned Work RefC01008018
Planned Work Start (Local UK):03/05/2019 09:00
Planned Work End (Local UK):03/05/2019 15:00

This planned work is required to complete Node Moves - New TX & PFPM position work at Leeds2

It looks as though you've combined our segment / node with others and it's now well over capacity at peak times.

While there is a further maintenance window scheduled for 16th May under reference C01008054 which may be related I'm sure you guys wouldn't intentionally overload segments and it's an oversight.

Please unbreak it at your earliest convenience: thank you.

Re: Congestion after planned work C01008018

Upstream hasn't been as bad since. Downstream shows some congestion at peak times but it's not horrible.

This said you really can't be selling 500Mb here - at peak times the network is running at >80% utilisation for sustained periods. Given there's between 1.6 and 1.8Gb available in total there isn't 300Mb available at peak let alone 500.

I'm not at home to check this, however given a cancellation request has gone in it's a non-issue that I won't follow up on.

Thanks for looking at this, team.

C.

BTW will be running on 4G for a little while. Shame it's not as good as this at home.
