Cable Modem Status - Network Log Warnings?

Evening folks,

Normally in Gloucester we have amazing and consistent speeds day and night.  Probably because we are on a connection with very few houses connected.

I digress, noticed these warnings in the network log this evening and seem to correlate to quite a drastic drop in speed.

Can anyone tell me what this warnings mean?  Are they related to the speed degradation we are seeing this evening?

Again normally we are seeing good speeds...

A soft reboot resolved the slower speeds, however it added a ton more warnings to the log as well

Not got a Scooby doo what these mean?

Apologies that you've been experiencing service issues and thank you for posting, I'm glad to see that you're normally receiving some great speeds.

 

I've been unable to identify any problems with your segment of the network, or the services entering your hub. Silly question, have you tried a pinhole reset at all? As a soft reboot has resolved some of the issues, it's likely that refreshing all the internal processes will clear the last of the gremlins. A full reset is done by poking a paperclip or similar into the pinhole labelled RESET for at least 20 seconds. Please bear in mind that this would revert any settings or passwords to their default and disconnect any wireless devices.

Hiya... I think it was just a temporary blip... speeds and overall performance are back to normal now

The router itself was factory reset a couple of weeks ago, but yeah, its worth bearing in mind as a troubleshooting step 🙂
