Broadband Slower Since Upgrade to 350

We have recently upgraded to Vivid 350 and our top Broadband speed has dropped from close to 200 Mbps to about 130.

Below is the status data from our Hub 3.0 Router. Please let me know what other information might be needed.

Thanks!

Daniel

Re: Broadband Slower Since Upgrade to 350

Hi cybrpnk,

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting.

Sorry to read you are experiencing slow broadband speeds.

Looking at your connection, the line and hub have come back as fine. There are no faults reported and the traffic on the network is running low.

Are you using the Hub in modem mode? If so, can you try a speed test direct to the Hub please without your equipment attached?

Do you get the same speed on other devices?

Speak to you soon

Sam

Re: Broadband Slower Since Upgrade to 350

Hi, thanks for taking a look. I tried switching the Hub back to router mode, unplugged my local router, and plugged in a laptop with a wired connection (so the laptop was the only cat 5 connection into the Hub). I reran the speed test, and it is still quite slow (around 137 down and 10 up). I also tried running the speed test over a wired connection directly into my local router (with the Hub in Modem mode), and that was about the same performance.

I think this seems to strongly indicate that the problem is not within my power to resolve. I am happy to run additional tests if there is anything else that makes sense to try.

Thanks!

daniel

Re: Broadband Slower Since Upgrade to 350

Thanks for updating cybrpnk,

I'm very sorry for the trouble experienced.

I've located your details and there are some timeouts present via the equipment levels at the moment.

I've sent you a private message so that we can get an engineer visit arranged for this.

Speak soon,

Nat_J
