It's been awhile since i had to write here on this forum as i haven't had anymore huge problems other than the ocasional drop out from time to time.
My problem started a few months ago (around February) when there was a big drop in my internet conectivity , upon calling them i found out they were performing maintenance work in order to upgrade the infrastructure and it went on for about a week and a half where i barely had any internet.
After that everything started working more or less normally.
About 2 months ago everything went to hell and since then i don't believe i had more than 3 days in a row with proper connectivity (speed was never an issue since 350+SH3)
Today i haven't had any internet at all and i tried using the service status but it tells me the broadband in the area is ok but the call center said there's a fault in the area and it's going to be fixed on the 15th.
Sorry for the rant above but i could use some advice on what to do rather than just waiting until they get a move on..
Things i tried :
Restarted pc . router , un-cabling everything and cabling it back together, put the router in front of a fan in case it was too hot, checked all the cabinets surrounding my house in case any of them had any damage.
I'm a fairly technical IT person and i work in IT Support however this kind of networking troubleshooting is a little bit out of my area of expertise.
It's quite suprising that even without any engineer intervention(i doubt there was an engineer in the area) it seems i'm dropping a lot less packets in the last 30 minutes as it appears in the monitor below
