Average Latency (ms) showing as a saw tooth shape

Does anyone else have their Average Latency (ms) showing as a saw tooth shape?

I am sure it didn’t used to look like that and was a flat blue band.

BTW, everything works fine, just inquisitive.

Can you post some stats. Go to 192.168.0.1 (router mode) or 192.168.100.1 (modem mode), do not log in, click on the link "Check Router Status".
Copy and paste the Downstream, Upstream and Network Logs. Mask any public IP or MAC addresses.

Re: Average Latency (ms) showing as a saw tooth shape

There is an explanation on the sawtooth affect on the Thinkbroadband pages

The sample graph sows the sawtooth in the latency and not in the average latency, but I think the principle holds true, it's just one of those things. If your connection is fine I wouldn't worry about it.
