Again more issues - Why are you not stable

Same issues are back again, such poor stability for what you call super fast 'Reliable' Broadband.

Apparently no service issues.

Please can someone check to see if this a known area issue?

Re: Again more issues - Why are you not stable

When you do a speed test or download/upload you get red spikes for packet loss?

Post your downstream, upstream with t# timeouts and logs from the hub.

Re: Again more issues - Why are you not stable

After 4hours of instability - packet loss and log errors of SYNC Timing Synchronization failure

it seems to slowly be sorting its self out.

Power levels etc all fine like last time, and the time before, and the time before that......

My post was for the admins to check if there was a fault because the service status page never shows any area problems and the 151 person just tells me to reboot.

Re: Again more issues - Why are you not stable

As well as the “check service,” weblink at the top of this forum board, there is also a Service Status number 0800 561 0061 which usually tells you of local issues, down to postcode level (that might even not yet be listed on the Service Status web page) that may give you more info

Re: Again more issues - Why are you not stable

Thanks, yes tried that as well.

Every few weeks the packet loss starts, sometimes just a couple of hours sometimes a couple of days.

But there is never any problem according to Virgin!!

Working ok for now.

Re: Again more issues - Why are you not stable

Hi flashcash,

Thanks for your post, and sorry to see you've been having some issues with the Internet.

I've run a health check and there are currently no issues that are affecting you.

Are you experiencing a problem still?

Let me know and I can take a closer look at things.

Re: Again more issues - Why are you not stable

Hi Alex,

Even rebooting every morning there seems to be lots of outages (latency and packet loss happening)

Each outage has a log error - SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Loss of Sync

See todays quality monitor each spike is an outage of 10 to 60 seconds which disconnects my remote desktop app which I use for work.

Any help would be gratefully received.
