500Mb to Gig1 - Slower speeds than before - Solved

I left the Hub4 turned off for half an hour, and then tried again, and it appears to be slowly shifting up towards the expected 900Mb. Feel free to delete the post below, mods.

Hi all,

I've just upgraded to gig1 from 500Mb. I'm running a completely wired cat5e network, with no other devices turned on, straight through to a gigabit port on my router, and the download speed I'm getting is significantly worse than before the upgrade earlier today. I'm still using the hub4, and my hub5 is due to arrive in 2 weeks. Any ideas?
