2 weeks in speed has dropped

Hi all.  I joined VM end of Feb and I am on Vivid 100 and noticed my speed had dropped, I am a Sam Knows user and logged into my Whitebox for the first time in a while, I am assuming this is not right.

Re: 2 weeks in speed has dropped

May not be relevant as you aren't on 350, but see message 7 on this thread.

Re: 2 weeks in speed has dropped

Thanks for that, I don't know, but on reflection less than 10mbts does't look right, I have just got home from work and ran a couple of speed test (laptop plugged into Hub via Ethernet) no one else on the internet.  (my lad standing behind me waiting to go on Fortnite lol)

Re: 2 weeks in speed has dropped

log into hub3 - 192.168.0.1 [or 192.168.100.1 if in modem mode] - DON'T SIGN IN, click - click router status [centre of screen] - and post the downstream and upstream figures - to see those press on the grey buttons/boxes labeled - upstream - downstream

if its an earlier hub button is top right

are the speeds you show wired or via wifi - always test wired

Re: 2 weeks in speed has dropped

Thanks.  The speed test was performed connected via Ethernet, the SAM knows box is connected via Ethernet.  The tables below are all Greek to me but I suspect the SAM Knows box is a red (or White) Herring

Re: 2 weeks in speed has dropped

levels are good - samknows is accurate as far as i know - i used to have a box and i always felt it was correct in its readings

but lets get to basics - can you take everything out and run a speed test via ethernet with the hub in modem mode - if thats still slow repeat with the pc in safe mode

to get back into the hub its 192.168.100.1

Looks like a reboot of the Router has done the trick, time to send the White Box home to SAM lol
