1Gig Speed.

Hi Guys.

So I upgraded on Friday to the 1Gig service from M500. Got to say the speeds have not been great. With a 1Gig network card there is not a chance of getting over a Gig but i would expect to get pretty close to it.

I run in Modem mode and at best i am getting 600 to 700 Mbps. Is there any suggestions? or are there any logs i can post here?

Thanks in advance

Hi

can you log in to the settings page on bottom of hub, 192.168.0.1 and post pictures of downstream and upstream levels. Most likely there wrong as SH4 uses different signals than SH3 so if this has been done via QuickStart there maybe wrong

If I've helped in any way, please give me Kudos and mark my response as a helpful answer!

Yeah just like I thought, all these signals are fine your issue is your missing the extra one that would make you go from the 600 your getting to the gig.

last tech hasn’t done anything wrong it’s just this new hub needs other signals so you’ll need to call or use the app to book a tech visit to sort. Until then your modem will do 600 max and work otherwise fine just won’t get the gig speed.

If I've helped in any way, please give me Kudos and mark my response as a helpful answer!

Thanks mate for the reply. I will call them today. Just to help it along. Is there something specific I should be asking them to do or look at? Or will they just know?

thanks again

 Craig

on the phone just say about slow speeds, the tech when he comes will be able to sort for you

Sorry but what 'extra one' would that be?
