Can you just double check my connection, because it's currently Saturday and according to your website peak times starts from 11am to 11pm. My connection seem fine from 3PM then when it exactly hit 4PM it plummeted completely, it wasn't even a gradual drop. It went from 8MB/s and straight up just dropped to 800 KB/s
If you're referring to our "Your guide to traffic management" help page then the 11AM-11PM only refers to upload speeds. Download speeds don't have a peak time period where they are throttled. Of course, the weekends mean most people are off work and kids off school so you could see a reduction at any point.
I've tested your connection but everything is looking fine with the signal.
So I got told 11th of May is fix day. That gets changed 25th of may, and guess what!? It's now been moved to 16th of June! Looking forward for it to be moved up to July! God forbid it gets fixed, not like I created this thread in December 2014...
Just read through all of this. Well, I have to say you have had the patience of a saint so far. But this could have been a comedy script written up for someone to do Live At The Apollo. What does surprise me, is that according to VM, OFTEL rates VM as the least complained about ISP's regarding speed faults. Well, I don't know where they got that from.
