Web Safe incorrectly blocking our website

Hi there, Virgin Media is incorrectly blocking my portfolio site https://studioelma.com/.

The hosting providers scanned thoroughly my site with 3 malware scan sites on the web and ran my website through them, and it came out clean see here:

https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/studioelma.com
https://quttera.com/detailed_report/studioelma.com
https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search?url=studioelma.com&hl=en

They also confirmed the site SSL certificate is working; it's valid and current. See: https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=www.studioelma.com/

Could you please change this and unblock my site? I am loosing business as my clients with Web Safe  cannot access to my website

Thanks

Elena

Hi there,

thanks for this. There used to be a malware but has been cleared a couple of weeks ago. Can you please re-check my site and add it to the safe list?

Thanks

Nothing that I can do, unfortunately, as I am not a VM employee. The info to report to VM was given above.

If you have had past problems on the site, you need to clean up the reputation of the site by following the steps in the post above. Gaining access on VM alone won't help you overall as the site will still be flagged by the various providers as a problem until they rescan it. You can prompt that to happen by submitting a request via a false positive report to each of the security/AV providers who come up in the VirusTotal report.

VirusTotal

https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/url

shows 8 providers flagging your site for malware/phishing/malicious activity (at time of writing)

The 'Blocked' website shows VM and Vodafone are blocking your site

Hi there StudioElma,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the community.

Apologies for any issues faced, can I ask have you been able to follow the advised steps previously?

Regards,

Kain

Hi Kin

Vodafone removed my website from the dangerous list - Virgin unfortunately has not get back to me.

Regarding the others, 4 providers out of 8 removed my website from the dangerous list -  now I am missing :

alphaMountain.ai - waiting for their review

Fortinet- waiting for their review

Sangfor - I am quite concerned they won't answer; they are china based

Viettel Threat Intelligencer - I am quite concerned they won't answer; they don't even have a specific form to apply for that

Could you help me to have Virgin speed up the controls? Virgin is my home provider, and I am not able to access my site when I am at home

Thanks

To access your site from home, change your DNS on the device you are using

Found through Google so use at your own risk/judgement ...

Viettel report button seems to be at the bottom of this page

https://www.cyberintel.io/#/

Sangfor mentioned on this list

https://www.getvisible.com/false-positive-virus-malware-scans/

other search information seems to suggest Sangfor may be slow to respond/make changes

Unfortunately Viettl does not recognize my website (?!) in the URL.

I am accessing my website with a VPN atm -

I hope Virgin will solve this ASAP

Thanks
