Vulnerability issues

I am signing into the forum under a different username than I did last year (when I had the same problem)

is there anyway that I can search on my previous username, as someone advised me how to solve the problem.

i have looked back on previous posts but cannot find it.

Re: Vulnerability issues

Hello

You can search for a username at the top of this page where it says Need a hand? there is a drop down you can choose username there.

Re: Vulnerability issues

Thanks for the reply.

Do I need to log into a laptop to find “need a hand” as not showing on my  I phone 🤔

Thanks

Re: Vulnerability issues

Thanks for the reply, I found it.

The port  in question last time was 5353.

This might be a silly question, but this time the letter I received didn’t say which port was in question, how do I know which port number to forward?

Re: Vulnerability issues

forwarding ports isn't the answer you need to find out if something is vulnerable and fix. or find out if its a false positive

Re: Vulnerability issues

I managed to find it.

The port was still ticked, so I’m at a loss now where to go from here.

Re: Vulnerability issues

Did the letter not name the issue?

Either provide an appropriately redacted screenshot or a detailed description of what was ticked, where, and why.

FYI: Previous issue probably mentioned mDNS where a possible solution was to forward the port 5353 to an unassigned IP Address.
