I called Virgin support about Outlook not connecting. They switched me to an Asian lady who told me I had to sign up to a £20 fee then £5 a month to proceed. I declined.. Is this a SCAM? I already pay over £100 a month to VIrgin.
Technically not a scam. It is a service that virgin media offer when customers have issues with their own equipment that fall outside of the scope of the normal customer support for VM equipment. See here for information: gadget-rescue-faqs
However, the customer support telephone folk do sometimes seem to offer it when something falls into the too difficult to deal with category.
