Re: VPN disconnecting every hour (homeworking)

Vrgin has removed the network log because it says it reveals my IP address. I didn't think it did, but if you can tell me what that looks like I can block it out. The log contained a page and a half of error messages. Interestingly, I had heaps of problems this morning but this afternoon the system worked really well.

Thanks again

DreamofCheese

Thanks for your response. I am using the Hub 2ac. I couldn't upgrade to the Hub 3 because of ongoing "passthrough" issues with VPN, whatever that means!

Thank you for the router advice.

Re: VPN disconnecting every hour (homeworking)

The lines in the error that show your IP address would say something along the lines of

WAN IP ADDRESS **.**.**.***

(I've replaced the numbers with stars in my example)

Re: VPN disconnecting every hour (homeworking)

I can see em anyways, look okay actually

set up a BQM

HERE

Run it for say 24 hrs, and post the result.

Dont forget youll need to make sure your super hub is configured to reply to ICMP echo requests...
