Spam Call?

Had a phone call from 01********* saying they were from Virgin Media and my IP address had been hacked from the USA and asking me to do things with my router. When I said my internet security hadn't picked up anything the line went dead.

I am assuming this was an attempt to hack my system, and thoughts?

Glad you were able to suss this out and we would never call you regarding this or ask you to access your router, we also do not have contract centres in the USA, so thank you for being vigilant on this and sharing.
