Scam telephone call?

I have received several calls from an 0800 number offering discount on my virgin media package. Is this genuine? They are very persistent and we're asking for characters in my password, date of birth and last 4 numbers of bank account. Number was 0800 0584220.

Thank you for your post. I'm very sorry you're continuing to get those calls. 

Sadly I am unable to confirm if that is one of our outbound sales numbers. 

What I can confirm though, is that we wouldn't ask for your DOB or 4 number of your bank account.
