I have moved this thread to the right place on the Forum. You will see from the Board stickies and from other posts that this is an obvious, common and well known scam. That's it guys - a scam pure and simple. VM will never ask for information like this to be provided in this way. It does the rounds reglarly. Just delete it and think no more of it. VM are fully aware.
Superuser 2017/18 Use Kudos to say thanks Mark answer as "helpful" only when the problem is solved Please don't send me private messages unless I ask you to. I do not work for VM. The advice I give is based on my best understanding of VM policy and practice. You rely on it at your own risk.
This morning I received an email that I can only think is phishing, telling me my bill couldn't be paid and my services were being cut off if I don't click on the link. Checked account and everything seems fine. Have Virgin got a department to forward these phishing emails onto? Or should I just delete it?
