Is this a genuine call ?

I have just received a call from 0345 600 0789 saying it was Virgin Mobile wanting to check my plan /account and if they could save me money.  Is it a genuine VM number or a scam?

Thank you for posting to the community. 

I can confirm that 0345 600 0789 is our Virgin Mobile number.

We are aware that there are phishing calls taking place so we would always take care in what information is provided over an incoming calls. 

If you are ever in doubt, please hang up and call us directly.

You can't be too sure with all the scams going on ..

but you can not confirm that the call was from that number
