I have received a number of e-mails from VirginMediaSurveys@maruedr.com claiming that I have cancelled some of my Virgin Media services (n.b., I have not) and asking for me to complete a survey. Googling the e-mail address seems to come up with conflicted answers as to whether it is a phishing attempt or not. I forwarded the message to phishing@virginmedia.com at the advice from one of the online advisors but I have not received a response back and at this point I am not expecting to.
I would appreciate a direct and clear answer on this as attempting to get through the Terri Triage Bot is giving me an aneurysm
Thanks in advance.

That doesn't look like the normal email address that VM customer surveys come via so I would treat with caution, especially given the circumstances you set out.
I have asked the VM Forum Moderators to refer this to their Security team for investigation.
I'm a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share knowledge, I don't work for Virgin Media, I'm a VM customer. There are no guarantees that my advice will work. Please read the FAQs

Hi markdyer72,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the community.
Are you able to confirm if the survey came from the same email address as the header in this thread?

Yes it is the same

Thank you for that information.
It is likely that is a scam. I would recommend forwarding it to phishing@virginmedia.com to report it.

So clicking on the link will have done no harm as I did not input any information..

After you click on the link was information requested?

No a page just appeared said the survey was no longer available, or words to that effect.
