Email was warning me about spam/security check stuff.

A generic information email sent out by VM. I received one on 8 Dec.

I had a similar email yesterday from this em.virginmedia address.

The first line read, "Thanks for getting in touch about your concerns around fraud. " but I hadn't been in touch with them.

It is a bit stupid of Virgin to put that in a generic email isn't it?

Sorry if the wording of the email have confused you prompting some concern and it would for me too. I'm thinking it's just an oversight  but I've asked our Security Team to check and will come back with an update.

Hi @Justred @Muttley32 @goslow (and others who may have received the same email).

I can confirm that the email is from Virgin Media and it's part of a campaign where we've identified customers who have contacted us previously within the past 6 months and I apologise if that's not the case. We just want everyone to be safe and glad you're all vigilant 🙂
