Hello! I got a message from "virgin" asking to confirm the installation. This was the number: +447480632160. And this is the message:
Hi, it's Virgin Media. Before we can install your Broadband on... we need to do some external work at... You won't have to be there while we work. Please reply CONFIRM if this is okay, or HELP if there's an issue. For more details visit virginmedia.com/install2
Obviously I took out the personal details. But I was just wondering if this was a scam, and if i should message back?

VM do send out such texts so if you are expecting an installation it is likely to be genuine.
The info page that the text refers to is valid. virginmedia.com/install2
But you are correct to be cautious as scammers do fake texts.
