Cannot reset password

I know everyone posts about this, but I have been trying for half an hour to reset my password in order to login to My Virgin Media and I keep getting the stupid "You can't use that password. Please choose another." error, even though my password is 10 characters long, starts with a letter, and has a number in it.

Can someone please help?

In order to look into this for you further, we'll send you a private message on here. 

Look out for the envelope in the top right-hand corner. If you're on a portable device with a smaller screen, click on the icon in the top right-hand corner and select "messages" from the additional menu options.
