We have almost daily unsolicited calls from 0345454111 identified on line as a Virgin number. the callers ask for some identity questions,callers clearly not English;they mention a recent call we made to solve a problem in our case loss of email this now resolved. This cold calling is a risk as for sure fraud copy copies will follow. Virgin should end this dubious practice. I ask for this to stop it continues sometimes early mornings sometimes late at night
I am sorry to hear your frustration with this. Did you raise a complaint about the initial situation and if so are you sure that the complaint has been closed? If not then our agents would be contacting you to try to resolve the complaint.
Having help with this is not my main point. Virgin should never call a customer and ask for partial details of their identity this is risky and a cold call nuisance.Virgin must have given whoever made the calls as they new I had phoned virgin about a technical problem unless virgin itself has been hacked?
Virgin should follow best practice as does my bank and advise logging in on line to answer messages from them
