wall socket retracting into the wall preventing cable connection

Hi There

I'm trying to install the material but I cannot connect the cable to the wall socket. Indeed the wall socket is retracting into the wall. Has anyone faced that issue? How did you manage to have it fixed?

post a photo - if you cannot sort it you will ned to book a tech

interesting wall plate - seen them like that before but never gold - that looks to be the correct cable end protruding - can you remove the wall plate so you can get behind it and hold the cable or isolator - if so you should be able to fit the supplied push fit cable and see if everything works

if not you will have to book a tech to sort it

dont forget to ring the activation line if you do get the cable to push on - 0800 953 9500

2nd thought - if you dont want to remove the wall plate hold a knife across the thread as it comes out of the wall plate - that should stop it pushing back and [hopefully] let you push the cable on
