refer a friend

I referred my mom to virgin media in June 2019 we did what was recommended in the referral email and she had her services installed on the 18th June 2019 over a month later we are both still waiting for the £50 credit to be applied to our account. Is there a reason there is such a delay on applying this. I don't have the email as they automatically get deleted after 30 days.
