order confirmation but no further contact

hi i signed up to virgin media 02.02.22 and got my confimation email but still have had no further contact and my ordrer was due by today. i spoke to an advisor on the phone who said they couldnt find me on there system and to speak to the previous account holder as we already have a virgin box in my son in laws name.
