If I activate my connection today , will it remain live without the box/router connected.?

I am moving into a new property on the 29th but Virgin have activated my quick start today, I want to go ahead but not leave a useable connection at the property until I am in it.

The connection will remain live. Even with the connection useable, it will still require Hubs & TV boxes with a live subscription on them at that address to use it.

You pay for the boxes using the connection, not the connection itself.
