intermittent connectivity, internet drop outs.

So last week, i had enough of the internet dropping out on me, sometimes a hub switch off and on and it would all sink up and that was that, but it was getting more frequent and the reset would not always work. so engineer came round nothing wrong with router but power levels high, so another engineer came and sorted the cabinet. when that was done the service (while higher speeds than before) dropped out more frequently almost usable in points of the day.

so another call, (got a call back that was basically blaming me(felt like that)) engineer came round and swapped my super hub 2ac for the 3 and yes there has been periods where i would say its stable, but over the past hour now it keeps dropping , reset done nothing to improve the situation. in the routers errors logs i can see message like No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out ,RCS Partial Service and SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Loss of Sync.

the current upstream and downstreams table below, but i have seen the powers fluctuate a lot.

Is there something here when i next speak to customer service, to point to the issue?

edit : Oh and i run the hub in modem mode, and my connections in the other router is wired and wifi. it seems to get worse if i am doing something with a lot of internet, i.e. downloading large patch for a game, or playing online.

Re: intermittent connectivity, internet drop outs.

Hi thanks for the reply, i did contact the helpdesk, and an engineer, came out tuesday this week, they could see nothing wrong with the box, or the supply to my house, i am not sure if you supposed to test the white box , or that the same supply as the brown boxes.

any how, so he suggested moving my modem into router mode, down that, and it disconnected almost everything i had connected to it (just my wired computer, ps4 and wifi devices (some on 5, some on 2 ghz) if i disconnect more , there is no point having internet into the house!. also these was all okay up till the original fix of the power levels at the cabinet..

anyhow i have been trying to monitor the disconnections (looking at the network log, is there an easier way to record this during the day?) i am only able to look in the evenings, but for example on the 4th i had a disconnect at 16:23,16:46,17:56,18:56,19:24,19:33,**:**:**:**:**:**  i would call them micro disconnect go off for like 3-5 mintues and then back.

any suggestions would be helpful

edit: not sure why its blanked those other hours , but its like 20 to and past the hour on the hour?
