Any idea why a new Wi-Fi pod should be invisible to the network? Is there an installation procedure?

Hi @xxxtra77
Thanks for posting on our community forum and a big warm welcome with this being your first post.
Sorry to hear you're having issues finding the Pod on the network, is this using the VM connect app? Are the pods working and just invisible on the app or are you having issues with them?
Regards

Thanks for the reply. After some reorganising and restarting of the pod, I’ve got it to work. Still some areas of the house with poor signal, so I have another on order. Hope that does the job.
It was on the app that I had the problem, where the pod for some time wasn’t recognised. Now it is, indeed I’m writing this via the pod.

Hello xxxtra77.
Thanks for taking the time to update us.
Great news about the Pod working and you also have another on its way.
Please pop back if you need anything else.

Having a similar problem with a third pod - it doesn’t connect to the Hub/other pods.
I’ve tried it in various places, close to or further from the Hub, also rebooted the Hub and other pods, but still the light on the pod continues to pulse and it’s not visible on the Virgin Media Connect app.
On the app, when I try to add a new pod, the message is ‘No wifi pods detected. According to our system you don’t have any WiFi Pods to install.’
Not sure what else I can do…

Hi xxxtra77,
Thanks for coming back to us and updating us on things.
When a new pod is plugged in, it can take some time to optimise and connect. Whilst it's doing this, the light will blink.
Please try placing the pod next to the hub, reboot the hub and then power on the pod. Leave it for around half an hour and the light should stop blinking.
If it doesn't it could be a faulty pod. Pop back and let us know how things go so we can help further.
Thanks,
