Why do I have so many T3 timeouts?

Hi

I'm checking my Superhub 2ac network log and I have a lot of T3 timeouts as shown below. Frequently, my Superhub seems to be restarting by itself and has been dropping connections too. Any reasons as to why this may be happening?

Unfortunately you will with those upstream power levels - with any luck the next engineer will do a better job!

Sigh. I can't be asked to have another engineer to sort this out. I'm just going to have to live with it I guess.

To be honest, he didn't check the network log on the hub 3 and he sort of did his own thing.

it sounds like he didn't do anything much at all - well nothing of any use!

You could try taking that attenuator out, it's doing nothing useful at all.

If it's not doing anything, why'd he install it in the first place?

I too had the problem of the useless customer services saying nothing was wrong with the hub. Complained to a supervisor and explained upstream was too high and managed to get an engineer. First one gave me a hub 4 (no change, No surprise either) Second engineer after another complaint replaced all my internal cabling and from the t to the service box. (better but still High Upstream) Complained again and the next engineer agreed I nee a re-pull back to the cab. This was done two weeks ago and Power levels are sitting nicely in spec Downstream. -7.5 Min 8.5 Max & Upstream 45.8 Min 47.3 max.  Lovely connection now compared to the last 18 months.

 

I'm surprised you got the Hub 4, are you on a 100Mb package? If so, I might as well request for one too.

To this day I'm still having T3 timeouts in my network log. VM is a joke. I'm switching to Hyperoptic when they come to my area (which is soon).
