Virgin offering new install date but this is a house move - will it affect occupier's Virgin account?

I am being offered the £150 discount for an early delivery.
But this is a house move so I won't be there.
The person selling will be there, but he's not going to stay in all day, he might be out for a bit.

More importantly will it affect his own Virgin account in any way whatsoever??
I do NOT want Virgin to break his account just as he's about to move out.

(Why does anything need to be delivered anyway? Meh).

Hi markc11,

Thank you for your post.

It's a very good question in complete honesty - one that I would have to take away and get an answer to. Just to confirm, when is your install due to take place? Has this already happened since your post etc? If you could let me know - I would be more than happy to help.

Cheers,

Ryan.

Far too late mate, delivery is tomorrow.

All it needed was a conversation with a human for *one* minute

Or live chat, but nope, no contact method is provided by VM

Apologies for the delays markc11,

Welcome back to the community.

To clarify did the equipment get delivered?

Let us know,

Kain

Yes equipment was delivered
The electricity and gas suppliers can do a swtich over with no fus, why can't you?
Bear in mind this is a Virgin customer moving out and a returning Virgin customer moving in
It should be so easy to leave the existing router there and switch it electronically at 1pm, job done. Saves Virgin money too.

Or tell me what the proposed new delivery date is - your message just said "we'll deliver it early"
This is basic stuff, keep the customer fully informed.
Or how about provide an online chat service??
