Virgin hub 3 keeps losing Internet connection

Hi, have had this hub 3 for 10 months without problems but now since over week keeps losing connection, 2nd time lost connection till next day and did everything from reset to checking all connections, had engineer booked online 1st day problem started but went OK so cancelled oppointment but again same thing getting really frustrating called virgin customer service someone from abroad kept saying same thing which I said have tried everything but its as if they reading off script, there is problem needs sorting please help needed, thanks in advance
