Virgin box cuts out

Hi, 

My virgin media box is cutting out intermittently. Is there any suggestions to help this. When it is turned out initially its cuts out loads then when its on for awhile it cuts out here and there. Any tips on what to do?

What Virgin box is this? From the sounds of it, you're talking about a problem with your broadband, but that's not completely clear.. On the assumption that it is...

1: Let's get all your modem stats.. Goto to http://192.168.0.1 (or http://192.168.100.1 - if in modem mode) but don't log in. Click on "router status", and copy & paste the data from each of the tabs.

2: If you haven't already, please setup a Broadband Quality Monitor and post a link to your live graph. It monitors your connection 24/7 and provides excellent diagnosis of any underlying issues.

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with your services. 

Have you managed to follow the advise from japitts? 

In addition, please could you also advise if this is dropping on both wired and wireless connection?

Hi, No it still cuts out it. Its not to do with my broadband as the connection is very strong. Its very weird it just glitches for a second and goes back to normal and then glitches again
