Virgin Media laying cables in the area

Hello, great to be part of the community. I’m part of a residents group on Facebook for the town I live in, there is a lot of speculation regarding whether Virgin Media is coming to us because they seem to be digging up paths in a few streets and laying cables. Can someone confirm if it is in the plans for Seaton Delaval? My postcode is NE25 0EQ.
