Virgin Box Wire Question

Hi,  I only have virgin broadband currently. I have a brown virgin box outside my house which feeds into a white virgin media box. There is a connection inside the box that seems to feed into a BT openhub wall socket in the next room. The wire runs across the floor if my living room to the bt openhub box in the next room. Can I disconnect this wired connection from my virgin box as it doesn't seem to be necessary?

Re: Virgin Box Wire Question

hi this is nick451
thinking about your wiring it could be an ethernet cable which feeds from your broadband hub to your virginmedia tv box this cable disconnected could stop your ondemand from working. if it has a connection on which can be unplugged easily then I would try to see if it changes any of your services when you unplug it you can always plug it back in right!

how would you like £50 you can refer friends or family to virginmedia and its £50 for each one! message me for details
