After listening to virgin radio via the App it’s now requesting sign in. Which I’ve done. I’m not however receiving the verification email (tried countless times, triple checked details and definitely not being sent to junk). Any ideas please?

I'm afraid you won't get any official advice here as Virgin Radio has no connection with Virgin Media apart from the name.
Does VR have a website you can contact?
