VM Support Please - Need Engineer Installation

Ordered QuickStart package but need Engineer installation.

Cannot see how to do that online and got cutoff using phone.

Can anyone enlighten the befuddled?

check around. if you were able to order a quick start the house has had services in the past. Sometimes this may just be a cable through the wall and not a call port.

Do you have an outside box on the wall? if so can you open it and trace the cable inside.

 

If you can't find the cable you can wait here for a vm staff member and they can book you an install. This can take up to a week fora reply

A week? A week! Why that's very nearly harmful.
Thanks. I'll try the SMS service and I'll go wait in the phone queue tomorrow am too.
It's a newly rented flat and there are a number of crappy old cables and boxes but nothing looking likely - and I'm not actually on site either.
