my hub is in here with the connection on the wall. Hub is all contained in the box.  My issue is I have the tv no where near this box and comes up with error s101 to say cables are not connected properly behind the tv where the v6 box is I’ve looked up coax cables but not sure which one to buy or if it goes in the wall or tv.

V6 needs a co-ax cable and also either ethernet or WiFi connection.  There should be a splitter on the incoming cable and one co-ax goes to Hub and the other co-ax goes to the V6.  If this is a new install VM should do this for free, otherwise its a £99 no fault call for the engineer to cable up.

If the new V6 box is not being used within 3 metres of the Hub you MUST ask for a technician install, as a new Virgin coaxial cable feed must be installed where the TV is located. You cannot install this yourself, as specialised cable is used that you cannot buy online or in a shop. The technician will also adjust your signal levels in the street cabinet & ensure the new installation does not cause interference with the rest of the network in the street.

You should not be charged to do this as it is part of a new install.
