I really need to speak someone that can sort this issue out for me .
Im moving into a new build on the 11th of january and found it only has open fibre network . none of the companies that provide ive never heard of so i want to go with virgin.
When I type my new postcode in on Virgin Media's postcode checker, it comes up with a message saying "it looks like we're currently unavailable at.." but when I check my postcode on the OFNL.co.uk website, it shows a list of OFNL broadband providers and Virgin Media is on that list as an available provider.
. i’ve even rang OFN and they said you guys definitely do provide. i rang back virgin and got messed about for over a hour i don’t think anyone actually understood what i was actually saying .
I seriously need this sorted as i’ve got a small child and need wifi to use the tv and everything
Can anyone help me . with this matter urgently please

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums. ⭐
With New Builds, they usually come with restriction that we're unable to dig in the streets to lay the cables unless we had an agreement with them to provide services, in which case our cables would have been laid as the street works were being done. If this wasn't done then chances are it will be a no I'm afraid.
Added to that, when entering in a postcode to ONFL, the results are a list of overall Service Providers but won’t state that Virgin is available to that particular address.
Just to make sure, I'm happy to find out if there are any current plans in the making for you. To do that I will need your full address. I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊

I have forwarded the address over to our lightning teams now to see if there are any plans.
Once I get a reply from the team I will let you know, good or bad. Just to set expectations it may take a few days depending on how busy they are 🙂

Thanks for your patience whilst I waited for the lightning teams to come back to me on this one.
They have confirmed that as of yet, there are no plans in place to install your area I'm afraid.
I know this isn't the news you'd be hoping for however make sure you register your address with us here, if you haven't already. Once registered the team can get some plans on the go to come to your area 🙂
