Up & Down in E11

For days now I have had a fault on the broadband with "intermittent problems" which is a "complex issue" - nothing showing on service status but it is near enough constant now and I am using the limited data allowance I have to stay up and running (fortunately it was refreshed on Thursday).  I signed up for text alerts but I have had none.  What is happening?

Thanks for getting in touch, I am sorry to see you have been having trouble with your connection.

 

I have taken a look and it seems you are affected by fault ref F006698190 for SNR and FECS. The current review date is 06 DEC 2018.

 

Please give this thread a bump closer to the time and we will get an update for you.

I've also being experiencing terrible connections in E11 2** - really bad pings > 300ms and terrible speed < 5Mbps.

I called on Friday and was told it would be fixed by today at 3pm.

I just received a text "Virgin Media Outage Update - Description: Service update. Broadband and Voice fault F006698190. The latest update we have is: We have identified the problem and an engineer is on their way. The estimated repair time is now: 17/12/2018 13:00:00. The Virgin Media Team.- ID: F006698190. Best wishes, the Virgin Media Team." which conveniently bumps it out another week for a fix. I had hoped it shouldn't take a week to come out and fix

What is the actual problem and when will it get resolved please?

Yes I got same message at 2.58pm today.  Also E11 2**.  Having to use Hotspot off phone, but can't see that being workable until 28th December when I get my allowance refreshed.  I do have a Virgin mobile, so perhaps I could get some allowance on there.

I've just had a ping of 17ms, down of 97 Mbps and up of 4.5Mbps but it was terrible last night. Still usable though, but really annoying.

Any update Emma?

I take back what I said. It's now: ping of 261ms, download: 41.85 Mbps and upload of 3 Mbps

Not working for me despite the message received at 10.26am

And now at 7.36pm when I call 150 I get the same message about "intermittent problems", "engineers working hard" and "complex issue".  Will this ever be fixed?  2 weeks now.
