Unsure how to plug in coax cable

Hi,

Just moved into a new flat. After spending all of yesterday looking for where the coaxial port is we've stumbled upon this box above the door.

Is this where I'm supposed to put the coax cable in? It doesn't fit over the metal bit on the left, should I unscrew that?

The cables that come with a self install pack are designed to push fit onto the screw connector so you shouldn't need anything else.
