Do you need a tv socket/aerial socket for virgin installation?

Hi @ASMITH11 ,

If you are referring to a coax cable for terrestrial TV, no you don't need one.

VM will fit everything you need during instal.

Hi @ASMITH11 

All VM boxes need a coaxial connection which provides the TV programs plus catchup and on demand services and apps.

You don't need a TV aerial (unless you want to use that as back up for freeview channels)

Unless you are taking out one of the very old TIVO boxes (which has it's own internet connection) you will also need to take VM bradband for the 360 box(es)

Hi,

No ... That socket would connect a terrestrial TV coax cable (to view Freeview etc) to the identical socket at the back of your TV.

VM will bring their own cable into your property and attach their own wall socket, (unless there has been a previous VM customer) to enable them to split the incoming signal between TV & Internet ...
