Thanks for the change Dolby to pcm
just done that on my virgin box so will see how it goes before putting the new hdmi 2.1 lead that I’ve just bought( no idea what lead I have on now but it’s a few years old
would you suggest putting the new lead on anyway?
Thanks

If the issue persists after the change then trying the new cable may be very helpful.
How are things looking now its been a few days since you tried this?
Thank you.

Thanks for asking
did the change of setting on the box to pcm as suggested and it all seems ok now
Put the new decent hdmi 2.1 cable on this morning and again sync now seems ok
